Farhan Akhtar’s wife, actor and host Shibani Dandekar has joined the household of veteran actress Shabana Azmi. To welcome her followers to the new addition to the family, the Fire star uploaded a family photo. She captioned the photo, which also included Farhan’s mother Honey Irani, “Happy family welcomes lovely Shibani into the family fold,” Farhan is Javed Akhtar’s son from his first marriage to Honey.

Shakya, Farhan’s 21-year-old daughter, wore a blue lehenga, while Akira, Farhan’s 15-year-old daughter, wore a white lehenga as they sat on the floor to pose for the camera. Tanvi Azmi and filmmaker Farah Khan too got featured in the group photo.
Shibani Dandekar expressed her appreciation for the post by leaving a heart icon in the comments section. Zoya Akhtar, too, responded with a heart icon.
Shibani has also changed her Instagram handle to Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar from Shibani Dandekar. ‘Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer, and Mrs Akhtar,’ states her bio.

Farhan and Shibani got married on February 19 at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azm’s farmhouse in Khandala, in the company of close relatives and friends. Farah Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Rhea Chakraborty were among the few who attended the intimate wedding, as did Hrithik Roshan and his parents Rakesh and Pinky Roshan.
