The team of Lagaan will be reuniting at Aamir Khan’s residence to celebrate 21 years since the release of the movie today. The cricket drama that essays Aamir Khan in a lead role finishes 21 years after its release on June 15. The star cast is all set to reunite at Aamir’s residence today.
Lagaan is a generation-defining movie that went on to become extremely successful post its release. The evergreen movie went on to become the only movie after Mother India to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. One of the reasons the movie is so popular even after two decades is because of its beautiful storyline that can be enjoyed by an audience of any age.
Due to the pandemic, the cast was not able to reunite last year. They came together to virtually celebrate the completion of 20 years. This year however is different as the entire cast is all set to spend time celebrating together.
On the work front, Aamir Khan will next be seen in his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, an adaption of the Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump. The movie will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role.
