In a star studded event at the iconic venue Glocal Square Mall, Sitabuldi, Nagpur Miss Fabb Nagpur saw its finale on 26th January, 2020.
Miss FABB which is a property of QNOX Advertising (of Yash and Vaishali fame) is the only beauty pageant of the country that not only has auditions in various cities of India but also has a finale show in these cities. A brand synonymous with beauty, glamour and talent, Miss Fabb over the years, through its process and training has transformed the lives of countless beautiful men and women.
After successful shows in Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Raipur, Indore and various other cities it was time for Nagpur to witness the Miss Fabb magic in its second season here in Nagpur. The grand venue was all set for the grand finale show. The entire arena was lit nothing less than a festival.
The show was divided in three categories Miss Fabb Nagpur, Mrs Fabb Nagpur and Mr Fabb Nagpur (as the names imply). The show encompassed of three rounds, an introduction round, a walk round and a Question and Answer (QnA) round. The elite jury members were from various walks of life, including businessmen, movie producers, models and people deeply associated with the fashion industry.
The fashion partners of the show were Cinderbay School of Design, Alishan, 18 Fire Designer Kurtis and Verse 21.
The hair and makeup of the contestants during the finale show was taken care by Sonal’s Makeover a very well know name in the field of makeovers. The photography partners for the show were Praful Urakaude Photography and his team. He with his efficient team captured some amazing moments of the show.
A little back story of the finale show, before we get into the details of the finale show, there were around 3000 plus online registrations received from prospective models in categories of Miss, Mrs and Mr Fabb. Of these 3000 plus registrations, a total of 800 plus were selected for the auditions. A total of 60 contestants were selected as finalists of Miss, Mrs and Mr Fabb Nagpur 2020.
These contestants were then given detailed training and rigorous practice and various sessions such as a dietary session, a session on how to pose of the camera, how to improve the walk and better their poise, this apart from the numerous photoshoots. The flawless choreography was done by none other than the co-founder of Miss Fabb, Vaishali Varma.
And at the strike of 6pm on 26th January, 2020 it was show time and Nagpur was about to give birth to new celebrities from their very land Nagpur. The show began with contestants from the categories of Miss Fabb, Mrs Fabb and Mr Fabb began by introducing themselves.
There were eliminations after each round and only the select few in the categories of Miss Fabb, Mrs Fabb and Mr Fabb made it to the final round which was the QnA round. The answers in the QnA round were a myriad of emotions with some being outright hilarious, to some very inspiring. As the eliminations began and the star-studded show progressed towards the final round of the contest, there was a striking inquisitiveness amongst the crowd and each one wanted to know as to who will win this coveted title of Miss Fabb Nagpur 2020.
Also there was a huge surprise announcement at the show. It was the announcement of Miss Fabb Universe. Yes you heard it right, Miss Fabb is going global now. This Makes Miss Fabb the country’s most iconic International Beauty Pageant. For the launch of Miss Fabb Universe, previous winners of Miss Fabb shows from Mumbai (Chelsea Stewart and Kashish Ratnani) Pune (Naina Sharma and Sharvi Sadafule) and Madhya Pradesh (Ujjwala Sharma and Poorva Baghel) walked the ramp all together on one stage in an exclusive and exquisite round. The stage was literally lit by their presence and it was a feast for the eyes to watch these gorgeous girls adorn the ramp so beautifully.
Soon as the evening progressed, it was time for which Nagpur was eagerly waiting; it was time to declare the winners of the evening. It was a double victory for these winners as not only would these winners win the titles of Winner, First Runner Up, Second Runner Up of Nagpur 2020, but also they get entry to the Miss Fabb Universe contest, where these winners contest against winners from across the globe.

There was a thunderous applaud as the results were announced and the whole atmosphere at Glocal Square Mall, Nagpur was filled with elate and enthusiasm. Nagpur had new celebrities which will now go ahead and represent Nagpur in the global contest of Miss, Mrs and Mr Fabb. All in all it was evening full of fashion, class, élan and glamour which Nagpur had never witnessed before.
