Casting for new projects is always the crucial part and once you get the casting right, then as it is said half the battle is already won. Today as per the reports on E Times, we hear that Abhishek Bachchan and Meezan Jafferi are all set to team up for a South remake.
Tamil film Oh My Kadavule which released in 2020 is said to be remade in Hindi. The film will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthi who originally directed the Tamil film. The film is a romantic fantasy film and as it’s reported Abhishek Bachchan and Meezan Jaaferi will come together for the project. For the leading lady, the makers have roped in Shalini Pandey who was the lead actress in Arjun Reddy.. Now that’s an interesting casting we must say. It’s said that the script for the adaptation is still being worked upon and if everything goes well then the shoot will commence at the end of next month.
Interestingly Meezan Jafferi was known to be dating Abhishek Bachchan’s niece Navya Nanda for a long time. Recent reports suggest that the two have parted ways and are not dating anymore. It will be fun to watch Abhishek and Meezan in a comedy film as Jr AB is excellent with his comedy and Meezan has proved his comic timing with his last release Hungama 2.
