Earlier this year, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents to a baby girl called Vamika. Now, the actress has revealed that Vamika is similar to her in the sense that they are both “extremely determined”. “I find her extremely determined. I feel that if she wants to do something then she’s going to do it, and I can tell that it’s going to serve some purpose for her in life. It’s nice to see that because I think I was like that too,” Anushka Sharma told Grazia in an exclusive interview.The actress and producer also revealed what kind of parent she wants to be. “My role is to guide and support her, to be her sounding board without micromanaging or being too controlling. I think an important thing to imbibe in your child is to be loving and compassionate towards everybody,” she said.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have also been extremely adamant that their child’s face is not photographed. They had requested the paparazzi to abstain from clicking pictures of their baby girl but have also taken additional protection while being seen out in public so as to prevent truant paps from ignoring their request. Anushka makes sure she covers Vamika’s face and holds her close to herself whenever she is seen with her baby girl.
