Arjun Kapoor, on Sunday, shared a quote on his Instagram story. The quote explained the difference between ‘promoting yourself’ and ‘promoting your work’. Anushka Sharma agreed with Arjun and reacted to his story.
Arjun posted a quote by American author Adam Grant. The quote read, “There’s a difference between promoting yourself and promoting your work. Promoting yourself is flaunting what you achieve in an effort to get attention. ‘I’m amazing!’ Promoting your work is sharing what you create in an effort to make a contribution. ‘I hope this adds value’.”
Sharing it on his Instagram story, Arjun wrote, “If most people in our profession understood this difference we would be making better films.” Anushka Sharma liked Arjun’s story and supported him by sharing it on her Instagram story as well. Sharing Arjun’s story, Anushka wrote, “A hundred percent true.”
Arjun was last seen in Bhoot Police, which also starred Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernades. Arjun will next feature in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns.
