A film is so much more about just the storyline. Characters and their curated looks are very much part of the personality they are embodying for the role being played in the film. Bachchhan Paandey is one of the most highly anticipated films of Akshay Kumar this year. Sajid Nadiadwala, Akshay Kumar, and Farhad Samji had a run-through with numerous outfits and looks before finalising on the look that Akshay Kumar’s character has been put in for the film.
The movie posters show Akshay Kumar in a rugged look with a scar running across his face. To add more depth to his character there is a play of a bearded look with an evil eye as an important element. As for his outfits – he is seen wearing a black shirt paired with blue denim and accessorised with multiple heavy gold chains. This look was selected and agreed upon by the majority only after rejecting 8 looks straight up.
Speaking to an entertainment portal, the makers shared, “Akshay and Sajid were very keen to try something different for the look of Bachchhan Paandey, so they sat with the creative team to brainstorm in order to translate their imaginations of the character’s look to reality. The team has been searching for the apt look of our baddie Bachchhan Paandey, for quite some time. After trying at least 8 sorts of permutations and combinations, they singled upon this look for Akshay and went ahead with it.”
As of now, three looks from the film have been released of Akshay Kumar. Needless to say, his rough look has been garnering a lot of eyeballs and appreciation from the masses.
Helmed by Farhad Samji, Bachchhan Paandey’s trailer has opened up to a thunderous response. The movie has a stellar cast to look forward to which includes Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh, and Jacqueline Fernandez.
