The tribute to mark the birth centenary of Kaifi Azmi was done right as a special screening of Kaifi’s son Baba Azmi’s first directorial effort was organised. Baba Azmi has directed a Hindi feature film named Mee Raqsam which means I Dance and it was specially screened for the celebrities and family at a preview theatre in Juhu.
Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao , Urmila Matondkar, Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar and many others were seen attending the screening. Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar recited poetries to mark the tribute of legendary port Kaifi Azmi and on the other hand Shankar Mahadevan sang beautiful songs.
