Actor Ranbir Kapoor who has a host of projects lined up, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. His mother, Neetu Kapoor, took to Instagram to share a message for his followers and well-wishers. “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions,” Kapoor wrote on the social media platform.
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor’s uncle, Randhir Kapoor had told the media that his nephew wasn’t well but that he wasn’t sure “what he has got”. Neetu Kapoor herself had tested positive for the virus while shooting for Jug Jug Jeeyo in Chandigarh. “Earlier this week, I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor’s advice and feeling better,” she had said in a statement.
