Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal passed away this morning. Raj suffered a cardiac arrest and couldn’t make it through. This shocking news was broken on social media by filmmaker Onir who expressed his grief.
Onir tweeted about the shocking news and said, “Gone too soon. We lost Filmmaker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.” Raj Kaushal’s sudden demise is truly shocking.
Raj Kaushal has directed several commercials and also been a film director when he directed films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ka Laddoo. Shaadi Ka Laddoo even featured his wife Mandir Bedi and love blossomed between them.
Last year in July, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had adopted a four-year-old girl, whom they named Tara. The actress took to Instagram and had even shared the update saying, “She has come to us, Like a blessing from above, Our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit, With eyes that sparkle like stars, Sister to her Vir. Welcoming her home, With open arms and pure love, Grateful, thankful, blessed. Tara Bedi Kaushal became a part of our family on 28th July 2020.” The couple also have a son called Vir who has turned seven this year.
Our condolences are with the family.
