After a long wait, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s highly awaited film Tiger 3 finally has a release date. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 21st, 2023, during Eid. The actor posted a teaser to his Instagram account and wrote, “Hum sab apna apna khayal rakhen.. Tiger3 on 2023 Eid… let’s all be there ..Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Tiger3 with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 21st April 2023. @KatrinaKaif | #ManeeshSharma | @yrf | #Tiger3.”
Tiger 3 is the third instalment in Salman and Katrina’s action film series. Maneesh Sharma will direct the film. Salman Khan plays Indian spy Avinash Singh ‘Tiger’ Rathore, who falls in love with Pakistani spy Zoya Humaimi (Katrina) in the films. The third film was recently shot in Delhi and its surrounding areas. On Thursday and Friday, some fan clubs even shared photos of the stars from the shoot locations on social media.
Previously, Salman and Katrina shot for the film in Turkey, Russia, and Austria. Emraan Hashmi also appears in the film. Kabir Khan directed the first film in the popular franchise, Ek Tha Tiger, which was released in 2012. The film was met with resounding success. Tiger Zinda Hai, the second film, was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and was released in 2017. Salman and Katrina have appeared in both films in the franchise.
