Shamshera is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the film also casts Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. The film’s official poster showcasing Ranbir Kapoor’s look has now been released. On Monday, Yash Raj Films shared a poster from Shamshera that spotlights Ranbir Kapoor’s rugged look. Along with the poster, the film’s release date has also been announced. Shamshera will arrive in cinemas on July 22.
YRF took to Twitter to share the poster in a Tweet captioned, “Introducing Shamshera – the fierce warrior & the saviour of his tribe. Experience it in @IMAX in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.”

The poster sees Ranbir sporting a beard, long messy hair and scars on his face. He’s also holding a battered battle-axe in his hands. It’s as intense as it gets.
While fans showered the poster with love, Alia Bhatt also shared it on her Instagram handle and captioned the post, “Now that’s a hot morning .. I mean .. good morning.”
Shamshera is Ranbir Kapoor’s next big-screen outing after the 2018 film Sanju. Apart from the period actioner, he is also set to star in Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy adventure film.
