Om Raut’s magnum opus Adipurush has been in the news since the day of its inception. The project is an adaptation of Ramayana and has Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan playing crucial parts in it. Adipurush is one of the most awaited films of upcoming times and the scale at which it is planned to be made is monumental. Recently, rumours surfaced on the internet about actor Sidharth Shukla being approached to play the part of Meghnad, son of Ravana, in the project.
However, in a chat with Filmfare, when the actor was asked if there is any truth to these rumours, he confirmed that he hasn’t been approached for the role. He said, “Honestly, it hasn’t come to me yet. So, I really don’t know if there is any truth to it or not. For me, I really don’t know because nothing has come to me.” Well, if the makers are considering to approach him now or not, that only time will tell. Keep watching this space for more on Bollywood.
