Veteran Actress Helen is all set to make her comeback on the silver screen after a decade. She will be marking her return with Abhinay Deo’s directorial next Brown. The actress was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine and has been away since.
Brown is a neo-noir crime drama based on Abheek Barua’s book, City of Death. The movie is set against the backdrop of the bustling city of Kolkata and promises to make a fine watch. The movie will see Karisma Kapoor as the protagonist, other notable roles include that of Surya Sharma.
Speaking on her role in the movie, Helen said, “When I was first approached, what put me at ease was the clarity and assurance the team gave me about my role. I identify with this character and i plan to simply enjoy myself as I return to the set.”
She also spoke on how we see content today, “I was nervous looking at how things have changed since I was last on screens, but having witnessed the change, it is all good and is in fact, fascinating to say the least, for this is a space I have never experienced before.”
Helen entered the industry at the mere age of 19 with Howrah Bridge and the popular song ‘Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu’. She earned massive popularity and success ever since and has featured in more than 700 movies.
