Priyanka looked gorgeous in a black outfit with white gloves, in what seemed like an ode to Karl, and Nick looked dapper in a black jacket with white shirt.
Priyanka Chopra had confirmed her participation in the biggest confluence of fashion and the entertainment world to Variety journalist Marc Malkin, giving details about what to expect from her ensemble for the night. He had tweeted, “@priyankachopra just told me she will be at the #MetGala on Monday. Says her look ‘will be on theme’ because she loves a theme but it will also have a ‘special element’.”
Priyanka attended Met Gala for the first time in 2017 along with Nick Jonas, whom she married in 2018. Her outfit that night, a trench coat dress with a long trail found a place in best dressed lists and hilarious memes. Both Nick and Priyanka — who were speculated to be dating at that time — wore Ralph Lauren.
Priyanka made her second Met Gala appearance in 2018 in a maroon and gold gown by the same designer.
In 2019, Priyanka and Nick attended the event as a married couple. The actor embraced the theme of ‘Celebrating Camp’as she dressed in a grey Dior ensemble with cage detailing on the corset and feathers at the hem.
