The Bollywood actress Laila Khan was shot dead in February 2011 at their villa in Igatpuri, near Nashik, Maharashtra, by her stepfather, Parvez Tak, a Kashmiri citizen, over a property dispute. He also killed Shelina, her mother, and her four siblings. He killed them, buried their remains on the bungalow site, and then made off with their bodies. Parvez Tak was found guilty of killing Laila, 30, her elder sister Azmina, 32, twin siblings Zara and Imran, 25, and cousins Reshma and Shelina, 51, on Friday, 13 years after Laila was killed. Shelina, the mother of Laila, had three husbands before Tak.
