The Michael Jackson of India was recently awarded with the fourth highest civilian award of the country – The Padma Shri. He has played the role of a dancer, actor, producer and a director and managed to keep the audience entertain with his performances over the last 25 years.
The actor was overwhelmed with this achievement and honour and hence he wrote on twitter, “I feel extremely honoured for being conferred with the prestigious PADMASHRI AWARD🥇Heartfelt thanks 🙏.”
He made his debut in 1994 in a Tamil film titled Kadhalan. It was a big hit down south. AR Rehman’s music for this film was a grand success especially the dance worthy song ‘Urvasi Urvasi’.
Prabhudeva has also worked with the bollywood biggies like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor. He has starred in the ABCD movie too. His directorial debut was in the year in 2005 with a Tamil film Nuvvosthanante Nenodantana. He has also received two national awards for his mind-blowing dance choreography.
